Come together with students from universities across North Texas for Altitude, a conference designed to equip and encourage young people in their pursuit and discovery of Jesus. Ask your life group leader about how to get to Altitude and learn more or register at altitudetexas.com.
How do you make sense of all the different books in the Bible? How do I understand it for myself? What are the most important things to God?
Foundations is a unique class offered to help university students discover the core of the Christian way of life. This series of conversation based classes is a great starting place for both the Christian looking for a greater understanding of their faith AND the skeptic who is unsure of Jesus and Christianity.
TWU Location: The Underground Lounge
UNT Location: GAB #438
Students in Chi Alpha will join together to support our Mean Green football team as they host the Llamar Cardinals at 6:00 at UNT's Apogee Stadium. UNT students receive free admission when tickets are acquired the week of the game. TWU students have a discounted price of only $10 when ID is presented.
Tuesday nights are when we worship together, hear biblical teaching, and celebrate stories of changed lives.
Every Tuesday night during the fall and spring semesters, Chi Alpha hosts a worship service crafted for college students from 7:00 - 8:30 at local church--Eaglepointe (1310 Lindsey St.). All students are invited to attend.
In Chi Alpha, the heart of what we do is our life group experience. Life groups are where true relationship can happen, and it is where there is the greatest measure of personal growth.
Groups launch the first week of class at both UNT & TWU. To learn more or to sign up to join, visit our "life groups" page.
One of Denton's greatest features is downtown The Square. Great food, music, and shopping to explore. We will roll down to the square on Friday night for a evening off campus with friends. Pick out a restaurant, grab your food to-go, and join the rest on the Courthouse Museum lawn.
We have the opportunity to serve together at the National Fine Arts Festival in Anaheim, California in August. We will spend 7 days helping teens discover, develop, and deploy a variety of arts by administering their presentation rooms.
The cost to volunteer is minimal, as we are only responsible for our transportation. Cost is determined by pricing of plane tickets when form is submitted.
