XAfit Challenge

The XAfit Challenge is to encourage discipline, perseverance, and fortitude through the a diverse set of exercise activities. Those who complete 8/10 from any of the lists below will be confirmed as XA Fit Champions.

To earn XA Fit Champion status, participants must complete at least eight of the ten listed objectives between the start and end dates of a single semester. Challenge dates will be available to athletes to test together.

XA Fit Champion | Silver Level

  1. Bike - 40 miles in 48 hours (live or stationary)

  2. Bike - 13 miles in 60 minutes (live or stationary)

  3. Run - 5k in under 33 minutes

  4. Run - 1 mile in under 9 minutes

  5. Swim - 16 pool lengths (400 yards) consecutively

  6. Swim - 4 lengths (100 yards) in 3 minutes

  7. Resistance - Bench Press your body weight 1 time (60% for ladies)

  8. Resistance - Dead Lift 150% of your body weight 1 time (100% for ladies)

  9. Body - 10 consecutive pull ups (75% weight for ladies)

  10. Body - 25 consecutive push ups (modified with knees for ladies)

XA Fit Champion | Gold Level

  1. Bike - 80 miles in 48 hours (live or stationary)

  2. Bike - 26 miles in 120 minutes (live or stationary)

  3. Run - 10k in under 60 minutes

  4. Run - 13.1 miles in 2:45

  5. Swim - 20 lengths in 10 minutes

  6. Swim - 1 mile, (66 lengths) consecutively

  7. Resistance - Bench Press 120% of your body weight 1 time (ladies 90%)

  8. Resistance - Dead Lift 150% of your body weight 10 times (90% for ladies)

  9. Body - 20 consecutive pull ups (75% weight for ladies)

  10. Body - 60 consecutive push ups (modified with knees for ladies)

XA Fit Champion | Platinum Level (must complete 9)

  1. Bike - 100 miles in 36 hours (only on a real bike)

  2. Bike - 50 miles in 3:30

  3. Run - Full marathon in 4:40

  4. Run - 10k in 50 minutes

  5. Swim - Swim 2 miles consecutively

  6. Swim - Swim 1 mile, (66 lengths) in 35 minutes

  7. Resistance - Bench Press 120% of your body weight 5 times (ladies 90%)

  8. Resistance - Dead Lift 150% of your body weight 20 times (90% for ladies)

  9. Body - 30 consecutive pull ups (75% weight for ladies)

  10. Body - 80 consecutive push ups (modified with knees for ladies)

  11. Other - Complete a “Murph” in one hour

  12. Other - Summit a “14er” (Class 2 or better)
